With more than 14 years of experience selling real estate in St. Louis, Ted specializes in the St. Louis City area, the Central Suburbs, West County, Webster Groves, Kirkwood and country retreats.
Over the years Ted has developed a niche of specializing in architecturally significant homes ranging from historic mansions to contemporary homes.
Ted lives in Ladue in a home designed by noted architect William Bernoudy, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. Blogging is also one of Ted’s passions. His St. Louis Style Blog is widely-read by fans every day and is noted as one of the Top 5 blogs to read by At Home Magazine.
Ted consistently ranks in the Top 10 of St. Louis Realtors and is a proud recipient of the coveted Five Star Realtor Award as seen in St. Louis Magazine. Ted Wight is a true St. Louis native! His family even tracks their roots to the founding of St. Louis being a descendent of Pierre Laclede and Madame Chouteau. Ted grew up in Ladue and attended St. Louis Priory for high school. Ted’s education continued at Lake Forest College on the North Shore of Chicago and received his Executive MBA from Washington University’s Olin School of Business.
Ted is the father of two college-aged sons, Teddy and Nicholas. His family has a farm in Pike County, Missouri where he has renovated a circa 1850’s farmhouse. On his off-time, Ted enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking and serving on committees for various charities.
